Dr. Fanning's training began at the Ohio State University where
he received his bachelor's degree and Medical Degree. He completed
his internship and residency at the Ohio State University. He
completed his fellowship in hematology/oncology at Duke University.
Dr. Fanning has been in private practice at North Coast Cancer
Care, Inc. since 1998. Dr. Fanning is Board Certified in Internal
Medicine and Medical Oncology. He is a member of the American
Medical Association, Ohio State Medical Association, American
Society of Clinical Oncology, the American College of Physicians,
and the Ohio/West Virginia Hematology/Oncology Society.
He is known for his commitment to research. He is always searching
for better ways to customize treatments for each patient. He
continuously advocates for his patients and expresses to each
one that something can and will be done for them.
Dr. Fanning enjoys boating, hunting, fishing, and spending quality
time with his family. He is married with two sons and two daughters.
