Michael is currently the CFO/Controller for North Coast Cancer
Care which he joined in August of 2007.
Michael’s
background in accounting started in public accounting with the
local public accounting firm of Payne, Nickles and Co.
He has also worked in the private sector as a CFO and corporate
controller of a manufacturing and distribution company,
as well as for the sports management firm of International Management
Group at their world headquarters in Cleveland Ohio where
he worked in team sports and golf.
Michael has an accounting degree from Cleveland State University,
and is currently the treasurer of J24 Fleet #75; a board member
and chair of the finance committee for the American Red Cross;
a member, trustee, and past treasurer of the Sandusky Sailing
Club; and the treasurer of North Coast Cancer Foundation. He
is a past board member and treasurer of the Kasper Roller Hockey
League, past treasurer of Interlake Fleet #1, and a past board
member of the Fireland’s Symphony.
Michael is passionate about sailing whether racing or cruising.
He also tries to play in the Hockey North America League in
Cleveland when he has time. Michael has been married to his
wife Cara for over 10 years.
